Cathy Aimone-Martin was honored with the ISEE President’s Award at the 51st Annual Conference for her outstanding contributions to explosives engineering. With 45+ years in blast consulting and 25 years as a professor, she has shaped industry standards, led training programs, and developed the Seismograph Operators Certificate Program.
The International Society of Explosives Engineers successfully hosted its 51st Annual Conference on Explosives and Blasting Technique from January 21-26, 2025, at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, North Carolina, USA. This premier event brought together nearly 1,200 blasters, drillers, manufacturers, government officials, industry suppliers and other explosives professionals from around the world to exchange insights, explore innovations, and build new business connections.
The Society of Explosives Engineers Education Foundation (SEE Foundation) has opened the application period for its 2025-2026 scholarships. Up to $118,000 USD in scholarships will be awarded to students pursuing degrees related to the explosives industry.
