 MREL’s specialists will visit your blasting site to test explosives and blasting accessories in blastholes under your field conditions. As well, MREL owns a 400 acre explosives testing facility which is fully instrumented to support research, development, testing and evaluation (R&D/T&E) of industrial and military explosives technologies. Laboratory testing services include instrumented surface shots in a full range of sizes up to 1.7m (8ft.) long, 300mm (12in.) diameter, steel pipes. MREL conducts qualification tests to various standards (STANAG, MILSTD) for Insensitive Munitions classification. MREL also provides assistance to government laboratories in a range of UN Qualification Testing for industrial explosives.
