Blast Vibration & Seismograph Section
In 1997, the Seismograph Standards Subcommittee
of the ISEE Technical Committee became the first
working committee of the new Section. Since then
the Section has grown to include more than 280
members, and has expanded to include four
committees.

Industry Standards
The initial goal was to develop uniform and
technically sound standard specifications for
seismograph performance. As a result, two
standards have been developed to improve
accuracy and consistency in ground vibration and
airwave measurements.

Although
we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the
