The Heartland Chapter is dedicated to the advancement of the commercial explosives industry by increasing access to information, education and training. The chapter membership includes people from all facets of the explosives industry.
The Heartland chapter has up to three meetings a
year and is currently involved in several
projects: The Mid-America Blasters Conference.
This is a bi-annual Expo with other chapters.
Blasters Training for the Kansas Blasters Permit
and the Missouri voluntary certification program
through the Missouri Limestone Producers
Association.
We are involved with the Missouri State Fire
Marshall in developing a state blasting license
program.
Developing a blasters scholarship program
