International Attendees
As an attendee of the 35th Annual Conference on
Explosives & Blasting Technique, you should
begin the process of applying for a U.S. Visa
immediately. It may take four months or longer
to obtain a Visa for entry into the United
States. The U.S. Department of State has
Current Visa Updates available as well as
Contact Information and
Special
Notices for processing Visas.
It is very important to be specific about your
business agenda by providing a complete
itinerary of meetings and locations while in the
United States when applying for a U.S. Visa. For

Engineers, sponsor of the 35th Annual Conference
on Explosives & Blasting Technique, as one of
the items you enclose with your U.S. Visa
application.
You may request an Official Letter of Invitation
when you register for the 35th Annual
Conference. Please send your request in a
separate correspondence and be sure to provide
your fax and email information. The Letter of
Invitation will be sent to you shortly after
your registration is process.
Note: A letter of invitation does not guarantee
the issuance of a Visa. The International
Society of Explosives Engineers cannot assist
with the actual Visa processing, nor can the
Society provide any financial support for
travel, registration fees, or local expenses.
