ISEE Certificate Program
The
International Society of Explosives Engineers
Certificate Program was developed to educate
blasters and establish a standard level of
training for the explosives industry. The
program is designed to meet the needs of
explosives users with varying degrees of skill
and expertise.
Substantive material is taken from the ISEE
Blasters' Handbook 17th Edition. The material in Level I
Version 2 is updated to reflect changes in
blasting technology. The 18th Edition of the
ISEE Blasters' Handbook, due for release in
Spring 2010, will provide a new resource for
training and education for Blasters and support
employees. The Certificate Program
information has been distilled into interactive
workbooks supplemented by video lessons.
Self tests can be administered by a facilitator
or by the student and forwarded to the ISEE
where progressive levels of achievement are
documented and kept on file as a resource for
blasters in building a professional resume. For
that resume record, a Certificate of Completion
is presented upon successful completion of each
level.
