Prosecutor Tapped for the Top Job at ATF-
President Bush has
appointed a federal prosecutor to head the
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and
Explosives. Michael Sullivan, U.S. Attorney in
Massachusetts, will be acting director,
succeeding Carl J. Truscott, who left in August
facing a potentially negative inspector general
report regarding construction issues at the
agency’s new Washington, D.C. headquarters.
